Modelling, Epidemiology and Surveillance of Health Risks (MESuRS), Cnam

The MESuRS lab aims to propose and validate scientific tools for evaluating and managing health safety risks. The epidemiology and modeling of healthcare-associated infections and antibiotic resistance have been a central research theme of MESuRS since its creation. Professor Laura Temime (Lead Team 3) is an infectious diseases modeler; she has worked for several years on modeling the spread of AMR within healthcare facilities and the general community. Regarding the nosocomial spread of AMR, she has used modeling over the last decade to better understand this spread and its determinants, assess the effectiveness of hospital control measures, and predict future dynamics.
